Im Almost Glad its Over...

Well, after a disappointing season that started off filled with hope, Commodore football 2007 is in the books. I have to say that this team had a lot of promise, or at least made people think they did, and I am disappointed with the results. There are positives, like the fact that we had our second 5-win season in three years, but that is only a positive at a school like Vanderbilt. I hope that Earl decides to come back to school next year, because I think he could have had a better season, but a weak draft class might allow him to exit early.

Moving on, the basketball team is kicking ass and taking names at the moment. We are currently 5-0, won the South Padre Invitational this weekend, and I have to believe that when the AP/Coaches Top 25 come out this afternoon, they will include Vanderbilt. They have already been included in the newest CBSsports.com Top 25 +1 at number 21 this morning: http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/polls/top25

Hopefully, there is more positive news to come. Fight Dores.
