Down Goes Holyfield

Dores win, Dores win! The "mighty" have fallen once again at Memorial Gym as Vanderbilt runs it win streak to 4 over #1 teams. The atmosphere in Vandy bars around the country was electric as we fed off the crowd and team to get stares from other patrons throughout the game. Here are my take aways from the game…

1) 53 Fouls, 39 Field Goals – I don't know which team this really benefited, but the zebras called more ticky tack little fouls in this game than almost any I have seen. The Croc was completely neutralized by the officials and Eww T couldn't press(not that we had any problems breaking it), but I think most people believe the game was a little tight.
2) Player of the Game: Shan Foster should take every shot. This mother fucker is good.
3) Played out of his mind Player of the Game: Dolla Beal, does this guy have handles or what? Not only does he protect the ball, but he nailed his free throws and made the ladies squeal. (34 min, 17 pts) And a ( . )( . ) to you my friend.
4) Defensive Player of the Game: Jamie Graham, He only played 6 minutes, but you knew he was there because he was in everyone's jock.
5) Who was the Vandy fan in the tie that talked mad amounts of shit after Dolla was tripped? He make multiple appearances on TV and drew a raucous applause from the bar.
6) Tennessee is a good basketball team and I doubt we would beat them on a neutral court, but I have put in an appeal to the NCAA Selection committee for Vandy to get to play at home throughout the tourney.
