Gotta Stay Positive

Do you ever wait until Wednesday after a weekend to check your bank account balance?  I know I do.  It gives me a positive feeling that I'm not actually as much in the red as I actually am...it's very glorious when things aren't bad at all (kind of like finding a 20 in a coat from the previous winter).

It's taken me a little longer to get over the MSU game.  That might possibly have been the worst game I've ever watched.  I'm not bitter or anything, but seriously, I don't like MSU.  Should we be allowed to bring fog horns or bells to a game at Dudley field just because we seat a shade under 40k?  I didn't think so.  They already have great grass, why is MSU allowed to ring those annoying cow bells?

I didn't watch the UGA game.  Wasn't able to.  I hear it was a good showing.  Hopefully we can build on it.

Enough of the bitching...

We should beat Dook.  We have more talent and the ACC sucks.

Statistically we're fairly even with them as they have the 88th Offense and 57th Defense compared to our 118th (ouch) and 45th respectively.

The key with all our games is the turnover battle where both teams are matched up pretty evenly with Dook ranked 8th in the country and the Dores 12th.

As the Redskins Defensive Coordinator Greg Blache recently said, "statistics are for losers."  We have more talent and should pull this out.  Hopefully Bobby and the boys will be able to outcoach Cutcliffe and get a great game out of our better playmakers
